Maison Margalide : Self Catering Holiday Gite - France
Maison Margalide is a self catering holiday cottage in the south of France, near the town of Lannmezan in the foothills fo the Pyrenees.
The Website Design
We built this holiday cottage website on the 52rentals.com platform - it is specifically dedicated to holiday home lettings such as Maison Margalide.
The main feature is the completely integrated online booking system, which includes a real time live availability calendar, the booking form with customisable holiday options, guest registration and online payment facilities.
The booking engine takes care of sending out invoices for deposits or holiday totals and when the time is due, automatically sending the holiday balance and if required the security deposits.
Using online payments makes accepting any foreign currency very simple - US Dollars, Euros or British Pounds in this case. 90% of small holiday businesses still rely on form filling and posting cheques in GBP only which naturally cuts down on the number of potential guests.
This is a brand new website, that has only been open a few weeks but already bookings are double 2011 level.
